Culture For The Non-Cultured

Hello there, and welcome to Culture for the Non-Cultured: The Blog.

This blog is about culture, where culture is broadly defined to include, basically, anything and everything — theater, museums, walking tours, movies, people-watching, nature-watching, philosophy, current events, celebrity gossip — with a strong emphasis on New York City.

Culture for the Non-Cultured: The Blog is a sister site to Culture for the Non-Cultured Meetup, a large social group which I started in 2006 as a way to meet people and experience cultural events in the city. Now, it has over 2,000 members, and two to three times per week, 20-60 of those members attend an event — theater, museums, baseball games, walking tours, and more — and then eat out afterwards.
